The Brief
Fire & Tea is a freelance vegan travel writing and blogging company based in Melbourne, Australia. Fire & Tea offers writing and blogging services such as sponsored blog posts, freelance writing assignments and interviews for publication in print and digital publications, reviews for upcoming launches and products, and photo sales.
Justine approached Vegan Web Design to design and develop a new website design for the Fire & Tea brand.
Specifically, the new website needed to fulfil the following business needs:
- To have a website with a professional look and feel that is also easy to navigate for potential clients
- To have a website that can host e-products down the track such as e-book and travel e-guides
- To increase mailing list sign-ups by 50%
- To increase paid assignments by 50%
Also required is to maintain the WordPress content management system that allows Fire & Tea to easily manage content on the site.
Our Approach
We migrated the content from Squarespace (which was a challenge!) and brought all the images across. We then built the site around the content ensuring all aspects were covered and Justine’s content was presented in a much more engaging way.
