The Brief
Nicole Godwin writes children’s picture books with animal rights themes. These books are published under the brand ‘Tusk Books. The first Book, ‘Ella’, is about elephants in tourism and the second book, ‘Billie’, (due for release in August) is about issues facing dolphins (including driftnets, pollution, dolphins in captivity and whaling). Other picture books are already in train for release in 2019.
Nicole wanted to give the Tusk Books site a refresh ahead of the Billie book launch and add some missing functionality.
Our Approach
We created a set of page designs and then custom built the site on the Genesis framework with the benefit of a page builder to allow Nicole to easily change the layout moving forwards.
